Seriously! What are the odds of finding fantastic Thai food this far up in up north? Well, apparently really good! We went there with a large family and the restaurant staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Food was amazing, especially Spicy Cashew Chicken and the fried rice. Service was amazing and frankly not a single Thai restaurant in all of greater Metro Detroit could compete with this little but awesome place here in Clare, MI. Definitely will be back again!
Im not sure there's better thai food within 150 miles. The Pad Thai was the best I've had outside of an old Thai neighbors house. The fried tofu was prepared excellently. The cream cheese rangoons? Off the charts! You could taste crab and the cream cheese was melted properly. The place is clean and no weird smells. The staff were very friendly and prompt. I would recommend this place to anyone. Easily mid Michigan's best Thai eatery in my humble opinion.
Excellent Excellent Excellent! What a find!! We had Spring Rolls and Rangoons, the best Tom Yum soup in the state, Yellow Curry and Khao Soi. So delicious!! We have enough for leftovers for both of us for dinner too! The Khao Soi was fantastic, I've not had it before and look forward to having it again. The Yellow Curry was top notch! Our server was very friendly and inviting and the food came out super quick and looked and smelled amazing as it hit the table.
We have been waiting to try this place and finally did- it was SO good! This is going to be a new spot for us to have date night. Nice atmosphere, quick service, & hot food! We tried the spring rolls, coconut shrimp, Sweet & sour chicken, and Khao Soi. Authentic in-house made sauces and you can choose your spice level!
Passing through for work. Cute Thai place in the middle of nowhere that you can tell is authentic. All food was of great quality. The yellow curry tastes exactly how I’d get it in Thailand.
Return visit was better than the first trip. Pork larb and tom yum soup were good starters. Pad Thai, stir fry curry pork, and yellow curry chicken were all very good. We did notice the soup and entrees were a bit salty but still tasty. Thai iced coffee was tasty as well. Service was good. One caveat for dining in winter is dressing warm as the lobby was a bit chilly every time the door opened. Overall a very good dinner though.
My family heard good reviews about this place and decided to check it out. None of us have ever tried Thai food before, so we did a little internet research before we went. We let our lovely server, Amy, know that we were new to Thai food, and that we were ordering several dishes that we could all try. Amy, and Dennis, one of the owners, were beyond accommodating. Even though the small restaurant was extremely busy on this Saturday afternoon, the service did not suffer. We tried spring rolls, the pork fried wonton, the Pad Thai with shrimp, the yellow curry with mixed seafood, the cashew chicken, and the Thai fried rice with chicken and pork. We also ordered the Thai coffee tea to try, and we brought home a green tea cheese cake to try after we take a break from all the delicious food. Dennis took the time to tell us about the history of the restaurant, his wife, who is not only culinary trained but also a native of Thailand, and the history of cooking in their family. He shared some Thai candy with us and made us feel truly welcome. I don't really expect a fresh cultural experience in Northern Michigan, and it was a lovely surprise. The food was obviously very fresh, presented beautifully, full of delicious flavor, and we all found out that we love Thai food! My taste buds are still having a party. Highly recommended.
